A/N: Just a connective drabble to try to get back into this poor neglected WIP. The earlier parts can be found here.

It's strange... I can't really put my finger on it, but something has changed since New Year's. Nothing is wrong, exactly... but I can't shake the feeling that something is looming ahead. Not a feeling of impending doom, nothing so dramatic, just a subtle but persistent feeling of... argh, I don't know!

I tried to talk to Jim about it, but he did his usual three monkeys/Sergeant Schultz routine: sees nothing, hears nothing, says nothing, knows nothing. But I'm well trained in Ellison body language by now, and I know he feels it too.

Time will tell, I guess.
